Portfolio Overview
Your portfolio holds your properties and the settings they share. You set a rule once for the portfolio. Every property then follows that rule.
The Portfolio area has two screens:
- Portfolio Settings — the shared rules your properties follow.
- Properties — the list of properties in this portfolio.

How inheritance works
Each property inherits the portfolio's tenant-intake settings. This saves you time. You do not repeat the same setup for every property.
You can change a setting on one property. That property is then customized. It stops following the portfolio for that setting. Your change on the portfolio no longer moves it.
The Properties screen shows the state of each property with chips:
- Inherits: [setting] — the property follows the portfolio.
- customized: [setting] — the property uses its own value.
What comes next
- Read Portfolio Settings to set your shared rules.
- Read Properties to see the roster and open one property.
