Overview & Inheritance

Questionnaire Scoring Rules controlis how LeaseOps scoresranks your applicants.applicants for you. You setdecide what a passstrong score,applicant alooks startinglike score,— the bar to clear, the score to start from, and the points for each answer.answer earns. LeaseOps then scores every applicant againstthe same way, so your rules.decisions stay fair and consistent.

TwoDecide levels:where portfolioa andrule propertyapplies

You can set scoring at one of two levels. Choose the level that matches how much you want to reuse.

  • Portfolioone shared rules.rulebook. Every property inheritsfollows them.it. Best when your properties screen the same way.
  • Propertyrulesa rulebook for one property. Best when a property only.needs its own approach.

A property inheritsfollows the portfolio's scoring by default. While it inherits,does, the screen tells you see:

Thisgives property inherits its scoring from the portfolio.

You then haveyou two choices:moves:

  • Select Edit shared scoring in Portfolio Settings to change the rules for every inheritingfollowing property.property at once.
  • Select Customise for this property to give this one property its own rules.

If a property is already customized,has its own rules, you can Re-inherit to drop its own rulesthem and follow the portfolio again.

LeaseOpsExpect a review

Your scoring changes may go to LeaseOps forbefore review.they take effect. A banner shows thewhere state:they stand:

  • Pending — we are reviewingreviewing. yourThe changes. Theychanges are not activelive yet.
  • Rejected — we could not approve a change. The banner explains why.why, so you can fix it.
