# Settings

Settings holds the platform-wide defaults that shape every property and listing. Set them once here, and they apply across LeaseOps.

## What Settings holds

The settings sit in tiles, grouped into three sections. Select a tile to open its editor.

**General**

- **Neighborhoods** — the locations your properties sit in. See [Neighborhoods & Places](/books/admin-portal/page/neighborhoods-places).
- **Neighborhood Places** — the establishments near your neighborhoods.
- **Unit Types** — the master list of unit-type labels. See [Unit Types](/books/admin-portal/page/unit-types).

**Property Listing Page**
