# Publish Requirements

Publish Requirements set what a property must have before it can go live. Turn a requirement on to make it a gate; turn it off to let properties publish without it.

## Set your requirements

The requirements are grouped — for example, **Preconditions** and **Landing page** items.

- To make an item required, select **Start requiring it**.
- To drop it, select **Stop requiring it**.

## See who is affected

The screen tells you how many properties meet each requirement and how many do not, so you know the impact before you change a rule.
